So many other wondrous and beautiful animals. In this post I feature:

Hippopotamus
Unpleasant herbivores. They do not want to eat you, only kill you. They lay low in water and are known to attack boats. Prehistoric looking.
Giraffes
Really tall. Beautiful eyes. The Acacia tree was made perfectly for them. They are the most beautiful animal at sunset.
Zebras
Each Zebra has its own unique pattern. They are a really calming animal to watch. They are the most beautiful animal at sunrise.
Antelopes
Antelope is an umbrella term for a diverse group of animals that are all part of the Bovidae family. They all have hoofs and horns. Here is a sampling of the many antelopes we saw. Special call out to my favorite the Steenbok; cuter than a fawn and incredibly fast even for a distance (just ask an African Wild Dog).
Warthogs
Notice how the warthog kneels when it eats. Not a pretty animal but endearing all the same.
Monkeys and Baboons
What is not totally cute about these guys? That is dad taking care of his young one. Though we heard they can be thieves and we saw they can get nasty. But still…..
