Picture 604 in my iPhone is the magical rainbow that appeared at the Grateful Dead “Fare Thee Well” show in 2015.

Where was this taken?  Levi Stadium in California at the Grateful Dead “Fare Thee Well” show featuring Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann, plus Trey Anastasio of Phish.  Bruce Hornsby and Jeff Chimenti sat in on the keys.

The rainbow appeared at the end of the first-set first-night after a deep-jam version of Viola Lee Blues making an almost perfect arc above the stadium.

What is it?  It’s a rainbow from an atypical-for-northern-California late June rainstorm. Or maybe it’s a shout out from Jerry to his amazing fans?

Who was I with?   One of my closest friends – I’ve known this guy for maybe 30 years – and two of his really cool friends.  Plus about 75,000 other beautiful people all feeling a groove together, with lots of love and peace and great music.
