There are so many places I want to go.  I was thinking what are 5 destinations I want to try to visit in the next 10 years, and I came up with these 5:

  1. Antarctica

Between the wildlife, the geography, the geology, and the influence that Antarctica has on the whole world, I really would love to visit.

2. Azores

My great grandparents are from these volcanic islands that sit in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean (San Miguel and Pico).  I have been to Portugal a number of times, and can not believe I still have not made it to the Azores.  Other family members tell me how much I will love it (maybe to never come back?).

3.  Cape Verde

I learned about Cape Verde when I was researching ethical travel destinations.  Between the beaches, the people, the food, and the culture it sounds like a great place to spend some time.

4.  Bolivia

The mountains, the culture, the wildlife, and my obsession with Salar de Uyuni makes me want to go.  I feel excited just looking at pictures from this country it is that amazing.

5.  Uruguay

I watched a documentary once about sustainable cities and countries and Uruguay was featured.   I am told that Montevideo is one of the most relaxed cities with the nicest people on earth – just being there will make you relaxed.  Oh and of course the food.

What do you recommend for me?
