There are few things that can fill a spirit with brilliant aesthetic pleasure like a well-kempt show garden. The Butchart Gardens near Victoria, British Columbia, Canada is a gorgeous garden worthy of a visit if you are near Victoria. We stopped there as the final port on our Alaska Cruise.
The gardens cover 55 acres with over 900 varieties and 50 full time gardeners. Most of the cruise lines offer expeditions here. I will share with you my wonderful readers a few of my photos of this wonderful oasis of beauty in the world.
The garden has statuaries, fountains, and many other wonderful features.
A local dock sits towards the back of the garden and offers a view worthy of meditation imaging.
Plan at least 2 hours for a quick visit and longer for a more full visit including delicious food. Enjoy if you go. Let me know what you thought if you’ve been here.
